GHM

GHM

A control system for complete water control and the most efficient use of water.

product overview

A control system for the most efficient use of water, Güntner's Hydro Management GHM allows for the control of inlet water and drain water when hydroBLU™ pads are installed on the cooling unit.

The GHM controller sets and manages the regulation of the pad wetting process, with the water volume calculated thanks to analysis of the load state, the ambient temperature and the humidity.

In addition, the GHM controller connects with the GMMnext controller, guaranteeing a smooth and efficient operation of the entire cooling system.

Benefits at a Glance

EFFICIENCY MODE

Ensures the perfect balance between water and electrical power consumption. If efficiency mode is activated, the wetting controller looks for the most cost-effective operating point between fan speed and water volume.

FULL LOAD OPERATION

Boosting the capacity of the heat exchanger by increasing the amount of water used to keep the cooling system running smoothly.

PARTIAL LOAD OPERATION

In phases of reduced demand, partial load operation ensures that only as much water as the pad can evaporate is used.

WET BULB CALCULATION

The control system measures the outside temperature and humidity in order to determine the wet bulb temperature and ensure efficient water consumption.

METERED WATER

Optimal water demand is permanently calculated depending on the ambient and operating conditions, setting the control system to wet hydroBLUTM pads efficiently.

FROST PROTECTION

Automatically activated when temperatures are below 5°C, frost protection is used to avoid damage to the hydroBLU™ system.

CLEANING MODE

The lifetime of hydroBLU™ pads is increased through a process of soaking and cleaning them in specific intervals. This includes also a pre-cleaning cycle, activated before the wetting starts to run.

HYGIENE MODE

Hygiene mode ensures that during long phases in which the wetting is not used, the hydroBLUTM pads are automatically drained in order to prevent the formation of bacteria.
