Gasketed Plates for all markets
The TL gasketed range is a quality engineered heavy duty product for all market sectors from HVAC to Chemical Processing and Oil & Gas applications. Guntner UK offers the TL range with a wide selection of design and material options including special connections, extensive documentation and testing (PED/ASME), graded paint finishes and quality accessories such a Thermal Insulation, Drip Trays and matching counter flanges etc.
The flexibility of Thermowave TL thermoline® Plate Heat Exchangers ensures an optimal choice of plate pattern and materials (plates, gaskets, and frame parts) to suit the application and provide a reliable process heat transfer solution.
A further advantage of gasketed thermowave plate heat exchangers is their high degree of flexibility. This is because the plate pack can be opened to allow full inspection and cleaning of the heat transfer surface and the plate pack can be extended for future duty upgrades. Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) methods of scale and fouling removal can also be adopted.
Description of a Plate Heat Exchanger
thermowave TL thermoline® plate heat exchangers consist of a number of corrugated plates mounted between a fixed and a movable pressure plate, positioned by an upper and a lower carrying bar, and compressed by external tightening bolts. Gasketed plates are available with various patterns to suit a wide range of applications.
The two fluid media pass through the plate heat exchanger in either co-current or counter-current flow depending on the application, and subject to the actual operating conditions, standard 'Glue Free' gaskets will be supplied and fitted unless a specific thermal duty requires a 'glued-on' solution.
The flow channels for cold and warm fluid media are alternately sealed with elastomer gaskets which are specifically selected and adapted to suit the retained media and operating conditions. Guntner UK provide genuine thermowave replacement gaskets and spare plate packs plus a full technical support service.
