A year came and went so quickly that we find it difficult to catch up. We started 2007 with deliveries to our prestigious project Paradise Street in Liverpool where 11 truck loads of dry coolers were delivered to what will be the “European Capital of Culture” in 2008.
This delivery coincided with us delivering 3 very large V-coil dry coolers to Victoria Shopping Centre in Belfast.
Early spring saw the dry coolers being delivered to JP Morgan data centre and Knighton House in London. By this time our major export shipment to 15 Tesco Stores in Turkey was well under way.
Being a British Telecom approved supplier enabled us to deliver the dry coolers to BT Ipswich and BT Rochdale with orders for BT Sheffield to be delivered in 2008.
Our deliveries to Royal Bank of Scotland sites continued with 6 units to Fettes Way, and 3 units to Mansell Street.
In between several smaller projects were delivered, such as Ford Dunlop plate heat exchanger, Agilent Bench in Reading, refurbishment projects for Valient House (next to The Swiss Tower (Gherkin) building in London) and Hilton Hotel Brighton.
Our success story in 2007 was securing the biggest European single order Guntner has received in its’ 75 year history; the new White City Shopping Centre at central London Shepherds Bush, comprising 61 truckloads of dry coolers; 45 of which have been successfully delivered up to the end of 2007.
The remaining 16 drycoolers are due for delivery by the end of January.
We now are looking into a prosperous 2008 with a good backlog of orders such as Cheapside (6 trucks) Sovereign House (4 trucks) New Street Square (4 trucks), Sony, Watermark Place (2 trucks) and several projects with indoor centrifugal condensers.
