Versatile and Powerful

Versatile and Powerful

The new V-shape coil condenser GVD offers a capacity of up to 2 MW on smallest possible footprint.

Furstenfeldbruck, February 2011

After the breath-taking upward extension of the drycooler capacity range with the newly developed GFD, Guntner now also offers with the GVD the corresponding condenser version.

High power density

The new V-shape condenser GVD has a small footprint and can thus achieve a very high power density on a small installation area. Due to the high power density a smaller number of fans is required. Each GVD can be designed for achieving a capacity of 2 MW.

Large variety of solutions

With eight basic models, the GVD offers a large flexibility and the optimally suited unit can be designed for each application. Due to the tried and tested Guntner floating coil system, the coil can expand without straining the refrigerant-carrying tubes. So the unit is protected against refrigerant losses due to leakages and the service life of the heat exchanger is increased.

Simple transportation, delivered ready for operation

The GVD is delivered ready for operation, so that no installation of individual components on site is necessary. Only two crane lugs are required per unit for transportation and mounting; the crane lugs can be moved, so that transportation by crane is easily possible also without cross beams. Despite their impressive size, the units are suited for transportation by truck.

Up to 41 bar operating pressure

On request the GVD can be designed to an operating pressure of 41 bar, so that the unit is perfectly suited for operation with refrigerants such as R410A.

Customised fan control

And yet another highlight: The new GVD is equipped as standard with air-side separation sheets for an optimal fan control. Additionally the unit is suited for all types of fan control, i.e. it can be equipped with AC fans (alternating current) or EC fans (electronically commutated).

Ready-for-operation system

The condenser offers a large flexibility in design, ranging from material combination, capacity levels and the compliance with sound emission requirements to factory-wired control; so you receive a ready-for-operation system as solution for almost any application. Of course, a large variety of options and accessories is available on request. 100% Guntner - 100% reliable.
