High Capacity, Small Footprint

Guntner Motor Management for EC fans

The new double coil drycooler GFD and double coil condenser GVD offer a large variety of application benefits.

High Power Density

Fürstenfeldbruck, April 22, 2010 - As of May 2010, Güntner enlarges the power spectrum of its double coil drycooler and condenser series (GFD and GVD): The new double coil drycooler GFD can be designed with a capacity of up to 2 MW per unit.

The unit has a small footprint compared to its power density and due to the high power density only a small number of fans is required.

Large Variety of Solutions

For each application the optimally suited unit can be designed: eight basic models exist of the new GVD and GFD, with a high flexibility of fin and tube geometries and large variety of heat exchanger coils. Due to the tried and tested Güntner floating coil system, the coil can expand without straining the refrigerant-carrying tubes and the unit is protected against refrigerant losses due to leakages.

Simple Transportation, Delivered Ready for Operation

The units are delivered ready for operation, so that no installation of individual components on site is necessary. Only two crane lugs are required per unit for transportation and mounting; the crane lugs can be moved, so that transportation by crane is easily possible also without cross beams. Despite their impressive size, the units are suited for transportation by truck.

Customised Fan Control

And yet another highlight: The new GFD/GVD is equipped as standard with air-side separation sheets for an optimal fan control. Additionally the unit is suited for all types of fan control, i.e. it can be equipped with AC fans (alternating current) or EC fans (electronically commutated).

Condenser - Up to 41 Bar Operating Pressure

The condenser GVD can be designed to an operating pressure of 41 bar on request, thus the unit can also be operated with refrigerants replacing R22, like for example R410A.

Wide Range of Accessories

Various optional features and a wide range of accessories are available for both series.

In short: A well-conceived solution suitable for any kind of application!
