Manufacturing started in Germany in the early 1930's and moved to its present production facilities 30 km west of Munich in Fürstenfeldbruck in the late 70's. New production sites were opened throughout the 1990's in Hungary, Russia, Indonesia and Switzerland to meet the demands of an ever-expanding market.
In 1992 production of the first Plate Heat Exchangers began at a new production plant in Berga near Berlin and autumn 2002 saw the latest production plant open in Mexico to service North & South America, bringing the total workforce to over 1200 people worldwide.
With the advent of new technology, Güntner is moving into the 21st century and is firmly established as one of the leading manufacturers in Europe of finned and Plate Heat Exchangers. The manufacturing plants are all accredited to ISO 9001 Part I Quality Assurance.
